IBM remains a viable choice for companies, especially those expecting to do regional business, but AWS is better suited for those expecting to expand internationally.

The IBM platform, however, works best in a hybrid environment. Choosing between AWS and IBM Cloud

AWS is probably too much for many companies. While their cloud migration tools are phenomenal and customization can definitely benefit organizations, the platform is expensive and extremely complicated. IBM Cloud, on the other hand, is a simpler, smaller platform that can be useful for small businesses looking to move to the cloud or for those considering a hybrid approach.

Ultimately, it’s up to the individual company to decide if a simpler approach is best, or if the power and all-encompassing support of a service like AWS is needed.
