Posted on January 10, 2022
ZURICH, SWITZERLAND and SINGAPORE: – Based in Australia and present in over 27 countries, EML Payments Ltd (EML) provides an innovative platform of global payment solutions, with years of experience in providing secure payment solutions . Wherever money is on the move, their agile technology can power the payment process, so money can be moved quickly, easily, and securely. They work in partnership with their clients wherever they are, to provide them with better results. EML has just teamed up with Netcetera to implement their state-of-the-art Access Control Server (ACS), including a risk-based authentication (RBA) solution. Netcetera’s globally certified 3DS product is a perfect match for EML, ensuring secure online payments across all card networks and reducing the risk of fraudulent transactions.
Since early 2021, EML had been looking for a reliable ACS provider to authenticate a large number of online transactions and protect customers against fraud. Thanks to warm recommendations from the contacts of the payment system, they were referred to Netcetera. The multinational software dynamo with roots in Switzerland developed the 3DS Issuer Service with a pre-integrated risk assessment from INFORM. The Netcetera ACS is based on a modular system, has an integrated out-of-band (OOB) authentication method, a comprehensive reporting engine, extensive and customizable functionality, a modern and user-friendly administration portal and standardized API and web services for faster integration, which was exactly what EML was looking for.
As an EMVCo partner and market leader in secure payments with 3-D Secure products certified with all major card networks, Netcetera operates a PCI DSS and PCI 3DS certified system, compliant with the highest security standards. Netcetera was an obvious choice for EML. Over 30 million cards worldwide are protected by their 3-D Secure issuance service, which enables frictionless online payment while securely authenticating transactions across all channels and devices, preventing fraud by line. With over 20 years serving customers around the world, Netcetera has combined experience and innovation and remains at the forefront.
Both companies are delighted with this new collaboration, with Patrick O’Shaughnessy, Group Fraud Manager of EML, commenting “I am very happy to welcome Netcetera as an ACS + RBA provider. Netcetera’s product guarantees payment security and has added a very efficient cardless authentication solution to our offering.“As an independent technology provider, we pride ourselves on offering the best new solutions on the market. We are thinking about how the latest technologies can meet the needs and requirements of card issuers and banks in a rapidly changing market ”.
