Jury rewards $ 7.5 million network of proxy servers in IP against rival


By Dave Simpson (November 5, 2021, 11:47 p.m. EDT) – A Texas federal jury has ruled that a network of Lithuania-based proxy servers knowingly infringed patents owned by an Israeli competitor and awarded the Israeli company close to of $ 7.5 million for lost profits Friday, according to the jury’s verdict form.

The jury unanimously concluded that Teso LT UAB and related companies had willfully infringed at least one of the claims claimed in three patents owned by Bright Data Ltd., formerly known as Luminati Networks Ltd. None of the patent claims were found to be invalid.
