New alliance between Peterborough businesses aims to fuel further growth for directories
Ascot Graphics, of Woodston, which designs and publishes Business Finder directories, has partnered with application developer Robin Road to develop and improve the publications’ online presence.
Craig Bunday, Ascot Graphics, said: âWe had planned to change our name in April, but we had to put this on hold as we went into lockdown.
âThe safety of our distributors and the public was paramount and another reason to suspend the print version.
âBut we were also committed to helping our advertisers, so we continued during the lockdown to produce the online version.
âWe have titles in Woodston, Ramsey, The Hemingfords in St Ives, but this new application means the reach of directories can be even wider. “
Michael Shuster, Robin Road, Thorney, said: âWe have created our mobile application platform so that businesses and organizations can present their information quickly and easily when and where it’s needed.
Woodston advisor Andy Coles said: âThe pandemic disruption has been very difficult, but with the launch of this new app it is possible to find a local craftsman who really needs our support to get back on. foot.
“I am delighted to see this launch in the Woodston area and intend to use it myself to provide information to the board relevant to the area.”
The plan is to replicate the new model across Peterborough and in more towns and villages in Cambridgeshire.
