Unification of HEROLD and Dogado GmbH by the European Directories group – Global Legal Chronicle

Allen & Overy advised the European Directories Group on the transaction.

European Directories Group (“EDSA”), a holding company of Triton Fund III, unified its 100% owned Austrian group company, Herold Business Data GmbH (“HEROLD”) and its majority owned subsidiary dogado GmbH (“dogado” ), based in Dortmund. In this context, dogado will take over all of the capital of HEROLD. The transaction is expected to close in February.

Dogado, a digital co-owned company based in Germany and Austria, now provides more than 260,000 customers with web hosting, domains and cloud solutions. HEROLD supports over 45,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Austria with its website services, which include fully managed websites as well as marketing services such as search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns. digital advertising (SEA).
