Facebook’s WhatsApp and Instagram faced a similar outage earlier this year on March 19, when messaging and photo-sharing apps faced a massive outage in India and other parts of the world.
At that time, users were having trouble signing in, sending and receiving messages on instant messaging and social media platforms. Facebook Inc had said its services were affected by a number of issues. Almost a million people around the world have reported issues with its Instagram photo sharing app.
