A Wick-based firm has again been recommended by two major international law firm directories.

The Legal 500 and Chambers have recognized BBM Solicitors in recently released rankings following their latest research.

Less than five percent of law firms are recommended by both directories. The Legal 500 individually recommends Wick directors Jennifer Simpson and Eric Baijal, while Chambers recognizes the team and singles out Mr. Baijal for special mention.

Mr Baijal is the only accredited specialist in insolvency law in the Highlands, a practice which he combines with the management of the firm’s litigation practice. Ms. Simpson leads the firm’s corporate and real estate practices.

The Legal 500 noted: “Eric Baijal is a terrific operator: very knowledgeable and driven to deliver results.

Chambers said of him, “His technical knowledge and project management skills are excellent and he handles things pragmatically…He has built a strong national and international profile.”

Mr. Baijal said: “We are delighted that once again our team has been recognized by these two directories. Nationally, we’re a small company, so it’s nice to see that we continue to punch above our weight.

“It also gives confidence to Caithness and Sutherland clients that they are not compromising on quality or service when they trust BBM with their work. Whether they are working on large international assignments or local transactions, we value the trust customers place in us and aim to repay with quality and service in the way we act for them.
